The Story

The '80s are calling and want their keyboard back!

Released in 1985, the JX-8P represented the next advancement in the world of analog polyphonic synthesizers. Featuring 61 keys, 6 voices of polyphony, and a very nice two DCOs per voice. Famously layered with a Yamaha TX816 for the iconic keys sound in 'The Final Countdown' by Europe. The front of the synthesizer features a classic mid-80s preset heavy interface. Anyone who's had the experience of programming a DX7 will understand what this is all about.

An absolute rarity to find with one of these is the original PG-800 controller which offers up a more traditional control interface. Functions excellently and has been a tonne of fun to fiddle on in-store. Whether you need big string sounds or weirder FM-affected oddities, this does it.

Hardware is fully functional, with this example having been serviced. Cosmetic condition is reasonable throughout with some wear on the sides and a scratch on the front upper panel. Features a cover for the PG-800 controller.
