1980s Yamaha SuperBass 500S Black

A funky '70s offering from Yamaha!

No doubt most players are already familiar with another one of Yamahas bass offerings, the Broadbass. Known for its rock-solid dependency, the same great Yamaha Japan build quality carries over to the aptly named, 'SuperBass'. Dating approximately to 1981, this examples features a nato body and maple neck in combination with a 34" scale length. Resulting in the SuperBass delivering an exceptionally present and punchy sound. A great player from a great time for Japanese instrument manufacturing!

Cosmetic condition is okay for its age with play wear present throughout as well as some minor dings. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. No case or gig bag included.
