Combining a digital delay and sampler, the DSD-2 from Boss was quite a revolutionary stomp box for its time. The delay section features two modes: L and S, with varying delay rates from 50ms all the way to 800ms. Shares a similar architecture to that of the infamous DD-2. The sample mode is fun, even though it's quite short at 0.8 seconds. Great if you want to grab a chord for a drone and then play against it with the footswitch pressed down.
This particular example dates to 1985 and features a blue label on the base, with the unit being manufactured in Japan.
Cosmetic condition is very good for its age with only minor scratches and blemishes throughout. Does not include the original box.
