1990s Charvel CX291 Black

A cool MIJ treat from Charvel!

Established in 1974, Charvel was at the forefront of the 1980s super strat phenomenon, putting out quality instruments for the most discerning of shredders. This particular model is a CX291, and more specifically an earlier model with the Fender-style headstock before it was later redesigned. Made in Japan, this example features a bolt-on basswood body construction in tandem with a maple neck and rosewood fretboard. The neck feels nice and slim, keeping in line with Charvels 'shredder' image. 

Cosmetic condition is okay and features some play wear present throughout, with a few dings present to the body. Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a medium action. No case or gig bag included.
