The Story

Manufactured for the Japanese market, the EP-SA served as a copy of Epiphones popular 'Casino' model. Interestingly, these preceded Epiphones reissue in 1995.

The EP-SA features a maple top, back and sides, with a nato center block. These feature a great recreation of Epiphones headstock logo from the mid '60s! Acrylic parallelogram inlays are present, which only further contribute to the great presentation of this instrument. In typical late '60s Epiphone Casino tradition, these models feature the 19th fret neck join.

Really nice player this one, and has some awesome clarity and note separation. Cosmetic condition is reasonable throughout with the most noticeable scratch being located on the bass side horn. There appears to be some possible work and fill in done around the inlays. Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low action. No case or gig bag included.
