Released in 2005, the Taylor T5-C2 Custom boasts a gorgeous Hawaiian Koa top alongside Sapele back and side. Unique to this instrument, this example features a 'Steerhead' inlay pattern as opposed to the 'opposing Steerheads' most other examples possess. Features a compound 15" fretboard radius on an Ebony fretboard, which makes for a truly effortless playing experience.
The TF-C2 utilises an active soundboard in tandem with a five-way switch to control bridge, neck, and surface pickups. Also employs a straightforward volume and tone. Super versatile when plugged in, ranging a wide gamut of hybrid electric and acoustic tones in the one instrument.
Cosmetic condition is excellent with very minimal light swirl marks/scratches and bar a ding on the lower back bout. Hardware is fully functional, with only some minor crackling from pots and switch which is the result of being stashed in a collection for a while! Includes hardcase.
