2008 Gibson Les Paul R8 Custom Shop Lemon Burst

The closest thing to getting your hands on the real deal, the Gibson Custom Shop's recreations of vintage '50s and '60s models are noteworthy for their accuracy as well as superb build quality!

This particular example dates to 2008, and is a '58 Les Paul model featuring a plain top with a Lemon Burst finish. These featured un-chambered mahogany bodies, mahogany necks, and beautifully selected rosewood fingerboards. This one comes in at quite a nice 4.2kg, and features an exceptionally full and large neck, which feels excellent in hand. This example has seen plenty of touring during its time, and as a result has a few scratches and dings throughout. It appears at some stage a volume pot has more than likely been replaced. There is a minor crack on the control cavity plate which otherwise appears to be stable. This is an excellent playing and sounding Les Paul from the Custom Shop, with mojo in spades!

This guitar also comes with some fantastic musical history, as it was previously owned by Dan Sultan since new, and used throughout his career. 

Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low action. Includes the original hardcase, as well as COA and case candy.
