The Story
Revered for both their quality, and comparable affordability, the Fender Japan line has its fair share of admirers both at the enthusiast and professional level. This particular example is their ST62 model, which aims to capture the look and feel of Stratocasters made during that year. The serial number on the neck heel dates it to somewhere around 2004-2005.
Neck is super comfy, with a nice and rounded 'oval' shape. Played both acoustically and amplified, this example is nice and lively with great balance between all three pickups. Minor cosmetic wear throughout, with some marks on the back, and light cracking on the upper bout.
Hardware is fully functional, and plays well with a low-medium action.
