Functioning as Kay's answer to the Harmony H-44 Stratotone, the K142 is a super vibey shorter-scale electric. Some features of note are the low output flat pickups, original single line Kluson tuners, as well as a Brazilian rosewood fretboard and bridge. Plugged in, this example sounds super woody and articulate, with a level of clarity that only old low output pickups can provide.
Cosmetic condition is excellent for an instrument this old, with some dings present on the headstock and the bout of the body. Appears all original, alongside its original hardshell case!
Hardware is functional, plays well with a low-medium action.
