c1947 Gretsch Synchromatic 75 'Sierra' Jumbo Sunburst

A fascinating meld of archtop and flattop acoustic design from Gretsch!

Now this is something you don't come across every day! Featuring laminated maple sides, arched maple back and a spruce top, the Sierra captures a little of the archtop and flattop world. By no means the loudest Gretsch acoustic, the Sierra has a fascinatingly complex tone that features a rounded low end, soft highs, and a very arch top-like quality when playing single notes.

Most notably, the unique, almost triangular sound hole design jumps out. Very old-school western we reckon! The necks on these instruments are fairly chunky, which is super fun. 

Hardware appears to be all original from what we've been able to gather. Plenty of checking and minor scratches and dings throughout, as to be expected from an instrument of this age. Play with a medium-high action. Includes a hardcase.
