The Story

Japanese-made Takamine with a big sound!

One of the most popular shapes from the Takamine catalogue, the EF340 boasts a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and a rosewood fretboard. Nice and assertive in the low-mids, this example has a nice present and defined sound which is only further emphasised by a surprisingly good onboard preamp system. Don't let the price fool you, this is an absolute sleeper of a dreadnought semi-acoustic.

Cosmetically, this example has taken on its fair share of battle scares. Noticeable dings, scrapes, scratches, and marks can be found throughout. However, there is nothing that impacts playability of the instrument.

Hardware and electronics are fully functional, and plays well with a low-medium action. Has had a fret dress by Jeb Cardwell of Melbourne Guitar Repair, so is playing very nicely. Includes a gig bag.
