The Story

We're excited to offer another stunning build from renowned Tasmanian luthier, Jon Parsons!

Taking inspiration from vintage guitars and modernist design philosophies, J. Parsons designs and builds striking guitars and basses that are both visually modern whilst true to the roots of fundamental guitar design.

The Asaph features a lightweight chambered mahogany body in combination with a gorgeous Tasmanian blackwood top. An offset shape in principle, the Asaph features a 25" scale length which feels incredibly natural and effortless. A mahogany neck and ebony fretboard is present, in addition to a contemporary feeling 12" fretboard radius. Madlove PAF humbuckers are featured and pair with this example beautifully, delivering an exceptional level of clarity and responsiveness. Premium hardware from the likes of Tuffset, Guyker, and Grover are present and round out an extraordinary example.

Cosmetic condition is excellent with little wear present throughout. During the build progress, some hairline cracks appeared in the binding and can be seen throughout yet show no sign of structural instability. Hardware is fully functional, and plays effortlessly with a low action. Includes a Mono Vertigo gig bag.
