Framus were a German manufacturer of various stringed instruments from 1946 to 1975, including quite nice banjos!
This particular example dates to 1962, and is one of their 4-string tenor banjos. At some stage the wooden back has been routed for a different neck, with the original being a 19th fret and the professional aftermarket neck included being a 17th fret.
Has some wear for its age, but otherwise present reasonably well! Hardware is fully functional, and plays with a low-medium action. Includes what appears to be the non-original case.
